but not the exact same eclipse he wanted to see.
it will never be and missing out something like that is unforgivable in his eyes.

An eclipse is still an eclipse. A sunset is also beautiful, but tomorrow's sunset will be the same as yesterday's. The next eclipse will even pass closer to Michigan, so it will be easier to go see it.

he still didn't got to see the eclipse he wanted to see, another eclipse will be great but it isn't the one he wanted to see.
he specifically wanted to see THAT eclipse, only THAT ONE and he missed the chance to see THAT eclipse, do you get what am I saying?.

While true that there will be another eclipse in 7 years, said eclipse will be in Texas, not even close to where Michigan is.

@Anon5: The next eclipse won't be in just Texas, it's path will cross though the eastern US, including Ohio, right next to Michigan.
