Do you think Loud House pushes it on LGBT stuff?
I personally think it does, but I would love to hear what other people think.

^We get it you hate the fact your waifu isn't crazy for the log officially.

Also how does Suna overshadows them when it was only two episodes and havent been brought up since? You must be referring to the fandom itself because it wasn't bought up in the show for a good while now. At this point you're pretty much coming up with all sorts of weird ass assumptions lol

It's more the fact that there are now 4 canon LGBT characters on the show (I still don't count Sam just yet because we don't really know a hundred percent if she likes Luna back but I would say the writing's on the wall so basically 5) that is meant to be for kids. Clyde's dads were one thing, you know to tick the LGBT box but now they are pushing.

I would put money down that Saluna will be brought up again and will be more frequent. It's clear the show loves rubbing LGBT's dick.

Meanwhile practically everyone in Steven Universe are trans and hardly anyone bats an eye aside from criticizing its shitty pacing. So your point?

Personally I don't give a shit. I just wanna enjoy a decent show rather than subjecting myself to Spongebob and Henry Danger on a daily basis. Only until the writing degrades to the quality standards as Teen Titans GO! will I give a shit and stop watching the show.

What strikes me as funny is how the most recent revelations went unknown for a good while and its after people find out about it that they are treating it like the end of the show. And the case with Saluna is that its still too ambiguous to even make a confirmation. Its the reason why I still dont consider the whole LGBT fiasco distracting since from what I seen, it have yet to be pushed in my face nor made overly obvious aside from the McBrides and its why I still think people are just jumping the gun a bit too much.

tl;dr: Until its pushed in my face in a very obvious and intrusive manner and when the quality of the show degrades to the usual shit you see on Cartoon Network sans Toonami, will I cease watching the show, til then I don't really care.

But honestly I'm just ranting.

Not really, tbh. They at least treat LGBT as normal on the show like everything else.

They should push incest, just saying.

yes exactly

Of course it's normal. I'm not denying that. I just think there are too many of them on the show right now.

Lets see 3 out of 16 main characters, and 2 side characters, one of whom is still ambiguous and the other being a background character who will soon make their 3rd appearance (along with the fact a lot of people weren't even aware of it til recently). Yeah thats most definitely way too many of them.

Seriously what the hell, why is this a big deal to so many people. It starting to become less annoying and more comical at how much people take this seriously. Like I said, until the writing degrade to the point where its no different from spongebob and teen titans go, I'll continue to watch it, more so when more of the sisters receive far better development than they have now.

The existence of 3 LGBT main characters and 1 or 2 LGBT minor characters annoying people is just a matter of forced nitpicking. (Forced because there isn't really anything to complain about other than trying to make up an argument that its a pandering) Meanwhile remove all that and people will still be complaining of some pandering. Its a neverending situation that will only end when people stop taking it seriously.

tl;dr: People need to chill.

And to medievil. Regardless if you're trolling or not, the split second incest is introduced, consider the show canceled. The show is already banned in many countries because of the McBrides alone LOL introduce incest and only one country in the entire world will continue to run it and it won't be the US

It's really quite simple. Only about 4% of the United States (or roughly 12,000,000 people) are LGBT and the rest are hetero, so there being like 5 in this small town in Michigan seems rather strange, especially since the majority of LGBT people probably live in San Francisco and New York, the gayest cities in the nation.
Del

Not only is that incorrect but thats also a very presumptuous census especially considering there are many LGBTs still hiding in the closet. As of late 2018/early 2019, about 6% of all adult males in the US identifies as LGBT and about 4 or 5% of adult women identifies as LGBT, thats not counting the teen population and those still in the closet. So the actual percentage is 10 to 11% or 35.9 million LGBT people out of 327 million of the entire US population.

BUT as I said before (2 times now, technically 3) Until the writing becomes horrible to the point Loud House is worse than Teen Titans GO, I will continue to watch the show cos I really do not care who is LGBT and who isn't. Not hurting me or anything. But I really just dont care about all that. My only concern for the show is if the Loud Sisters (And Lincoln and the parents) will receive better development than they did in the last 3 seasons and if the writing will focus more on slice of life moments than just forceful expositions. So we'll see.

I would absolutely love to know where your proof is. Trust me when I say that LGBT is rarer than you think. The majority of people on Planet Earth like fucking people of opposite genders, myself included. Of course there is nothing wrong with fucking people of the same genders naturally, but you need to know that it's really not that much in the U.S.

Nobody is in the closet anymore. You say you are LGBT and you get praise and adulation and people love you forever. Plus people are more accepting nowadays than ever before.

I do agree with you on the writing quality and I like you will continue watching the show. That was never in dispute. This isn't a writing-based thread, this was a thread about whether they included too much of it. I also agree that representation is important, but I think that it would be better right now if they shifted their focus away from LGBT representation and do other groups.

It's not "pushing" LGBT stuff so much as simply normalizing it. Yeah, it's annoying to deal with Tumblrites with how they view this shit as the second coming but it sure as hell is just as annoying hearing soccer moms saying this shit is brainwashing kids into degeneracy.

I didn't ask if it was "normalizing" it. Of course they are normalizing it. I agree with you on this. I have said multiple times that they should have just kept it with Howard and Harold that way they have the check-mark for that minority and they don't have to have too many people complain about it.

You can actually look this stuff up. The number isn't absolute as even my numbers are based on past data from late 2018 and not current data. But there is no way in hell only 12 million out of 327 million identifies as LGBT like you're claiming. Maybe about 7 to 10 years ago maybe but not today where the number is closer to 28 to 35 million, more when you count the ones still in the closet. You can deny it ALL you want but there are still LGBTs who aren't open about it at the moment. To believe EVERY SINGLE one of them is open about it is jumping the gun 10 times over. (In fact if the number really IS 12 million or even lower it ironically proves my point even more that not all of them are open)

Furthermore because of religious liberties from Christians and Muslims (you know? the people SJWs like to defend whilst ignoring their homophobia), no, they don't always get praise and adulation. You may believe that due to the social stigma of how more supported it became, but thats not always the norm. You go to the deep south and you'll find how aggressively homophobic many people are there. Then you have Christian groups who strongly desire and wish the whole "love thy neighbor" crap and the "judge the sin not the sinner" BS could be removed from the bible because they want the freedom to hate and attack LGBT people. So again I'm curious where the heck all that coming from. When I'm not only hearing differently and the data is completely different but seeing differently with my own eyes.

And honestly I don;t see 5 characters (two of whom are side characters) as "Including too much.". Thats just forcing the topic by claiming there are too many.

And what other groups? They tried with The Casagrandes and look at how apeshit people went over that even though imo it was a decent representation of Latin-American Families. In order to explore other groups, fans need to stop getting mad or disappointed each time an episode don't heavily focus on a Loud. And if anything, focusing on other groups will just result in people still calling it "SJW Pandering" so what would even be the point? People are calling the "focus" on LGBT characters as SJW Pandering, but its just gonna be the same reaction if the writers focused on other groups. Situation with shows going these directions are always a lose/lose. No matter whats done, everyone will still be disappointed. Its the main reason why I don't give a crap because people still gonna get angry no matter whats done, meanwhile I'm just still enjoying the show.

tl;dr: People still gonna get angry and claim any focus on other groups is still SJW pandering.

Quick Note: And ironically, Harold and Howard are the sole reason why the show is banned in other countries or been edited in dumb ways, (Like giving Harold a female voice actress to try and "Fool" the audience into thinking he's a crossdressing woman) aka a lot of people were still complaining just because they existed.

It's not like the show is constantly reminding the audience of how gayyyyy Howard and Harold or Luna and Sam are. I can see that they've handled the latter well in Racing Hearts as they pretty much show that LGBT couples are no different than straight ones; one or both will get nervous, they want to make their first date perfect and they learn a bit more about each other. That's literally all there is to it.

It shouldn't even be a big deal on how many LGBT characters are in a show. What ultimately matters is the quality of the show and whether or not these characters are well-written.

That what I wish people would do. Its not in our faces (again I wasn't even aware of that pageant host until someone got upset that a side character was "ruined" and even still the writers didn't even announced it like Taylor did), its not hurting anyone, but just the fact they exist is what pisses people off. Which is why I find this situation both amusing and just annoying. Suffice to say, no matter what the writers do, any minority focus will always be considered SJW pandering, so there really is no point.

@Del
I think that number is pretty correct. I mean it is a minority after all. There's about 10% of African-Americans in the United States too. I think that people forget how big the United States is and even little numbers like that is still a lot of people. I should mention that I hate the fact that people were killed for being gay, that is awful and the people who bullied them deserve to go to hell, but in this current year there are more people accepting of them than ever before. Just saying you are gay on social media gets you immediate brownie points from the legion of SJWs on Twitter and Tumblr and anyone who doesn't have anything but glowing praise about them is blocked, hated, insulted and berated. All they have to do is come out and people will love them. There are so many of them all around that it would be constant praise nonstop for loving somebody of the same gender/sex. I am sure that there are some people who are still closeted but in this day and age there is little danger of coming out.

I am not religious, but I have read a lot about other religions and while I agree with you about Muslims being homophobic, I don't necessarily agree with Christians being that way. I mean yeah there are some parts of the religion I disagree with, and there is the stereotype of those Bible-thumpers who shove religion down people's throats and it's really terrible, but I don't think everyone is like that. To me, this is like saying "every black person is a thug or criminal because a couple of them are". That's what it sounds like. There are Christians in my community who are super nice and always say hello to me and always talk to me about my day, they are like the nicest people ever. Again, not saying everything about the religion (or frankly really any religion) is perfect, but I don't necessarily think that there is any overlying hatred with the religion in general.

I suppose if you compare those 5 characters to the 2572 characters on Steven Universe, then yeah it's not that much, and I suppose as more straight characters get introduced they need more diversity which I can understand, but even so what's wrong with just having the McBrides as the only ones? The community is never satisfied and want a whole gay world. I support them and all and I agree that there needs to be some in the show.

I don't even really care about The Casagrandes so it's just eh to me. I do agree with that statement you made about people complaining no matter what.

I cannot account for the other countries and regions that censor one of the McBrides but I can see why they would do that for cultural reasons and I support that. I mean I think that most people are fine with the people while not really being a fan of what they do, which I don't think is too terrible. I hate smoking but I love my friends who smoke and vape, they are awesome. I like the McBrides (one of whom is voiced by the awesome Wayne Brady) and Sam and Luna (Luna is a bit of a waifu).
