Due to a arrival of a spambot spamming viagra ads in the comments, I am disabling anon commenting for a day or so. Hopefully the spambot will go away by then.

No, the Loud Booru is for posting material related to the Loud House, not posting ads for non-related products.

All spambots do is clutter up the comments for the people who want to comment on the pictures, and it is a tedious process to remove the spam.

Here's a suggestion: why not add some sort of anti-bot verification tool (like reCAPTCHA)

Bots are back occasionally commenting one whole page of page 1 /list/ at a go.

Make sure to report them AND to discourage reporting on comments that don't break the rules because that makes the bot posts harder for me to find.

Got another viagra spam attack again, turning off comments for the night and will reenable them in the morning.

I'm gonna be that guy and just suggest anon comments stay off and the lazy anons can make their own accounts LOL Cos this gonna happen again especially if an anon or member is the direct cause of it.

I would like to remind people to ONLY report comments that break the rules. I wound up accidentally deleting legitimate comments and accidentally unflagging spam because idiots can't stop reporting comments that offend them even though offending people isn't against the rules here.

You know full well these people will continue to report comments that aren't against the rules.
