How to find lost/deleted fanfics.
For many of you new user you probably weren’t around early days of the loud booru. Back then we were a tightly knitted community with tons of great authors and fanfics. For a lot you afraid you’re done looking at the art in posts you go on over to “the loud house fanfics” topic to look for a good read. Back in the day it was just a few pages, full of the best fanfics made by some talented authors most if not all post before fanfic.net had a loud house selection. But these day you probably flip through the pages and find a lot of blank posts(just a username with nothing posted) or deadlinks(links that lead to a deleted pastebin or page) and now you wonder “what was that fanfic about?” Or “I wish I was here to read it when it was still up.”. Over the years many great authors have left the fandom and booru all together most disappearing without saying goodbye. Some of them have deleted their works, other just left their pastbin abandoned and soon they were timed out. As of now your only way to read those fics is if an archivist save them and repost in the later pages of the “Fanfics” topic. But their is another way to find and read them.

By using this website: https://archive.org/web/ you can post the deadlink in the search bar and you could potentially find the lost fanfic. But if you were looking to find out what was in those blank posts simply put the URL for the loud booru and flip through the years and then all you have to do is use it like the regular website.

These really the only real ways of reading lost/deleted fics with the other ways being unfeasible. But the ways I just mentioned have a few problems to. If an archivist isn’t fast enough or if he/she has been here long they might not have save the fics in time. Give how most of the authors left without notice or silently abandoned no one can really blame them. Wayback machine has a different problem as it requires some one to the past to have archive the fic to the website to read it and the website can be buggy at time like not loading deadlinks when they are archived. Now I would like to move on to one last thing.

If you’re an archivist or just someone with a little time on your hands open up wayback machine then go to the “the loud house fanfics” topic and open every working link(pastebin mostly) even repost from other archivists pastebin accounts and save the page or screenshot it to wayback machine. We’ve already lost so many great works before we begin to archive everything. With no feasible way as of now to get them back. I think the booru/fandom should have little insurance just in case the people who are all ready saveing/achieving these fics have to say goodbye or just disappear one day and their accounts get timeout because they didn’t go pastbin pro and people don’t visit as often.

If you have any questions please reply and I will try to get back to you.

I've been going through the fanfic thread and saving most of the works for a while now. FYI you can't use the Web Archive on Pastebin anymore, they don't allow it. Unless you know a way to work around Robots.txt we can't get deleted pastes anymore.

Sorry for getting back to late. I’m going to find a way with pastebin but a quick work around would be to post the story on another website and save it.

Do you by any chance have a download of them at the moment up to what page do you have them save atm wouldn't mind having them either. so i can help in archiving when they get posted on here.

If you happen to have the fanfic "Living Loud Talent Agency" from Cedric, specifically Chapter 3, I would be grateful.

Sorry about the wait.
Okay, so you can use the Web Archive on Pastebin again. I have no idea why you couldn't for awhile but if you want to start searching for deleted stories do it now.

I have many stories downloaded but I don't re-upload them until they get taken down.

I don't have the third chapter of Living Loud Talent Agency and I can't find it in the Wayback Machine. Unless he posted it in the threads and I can find it using the Desuarchive (whenever it gets unfucked) it's gone forever.

There's part of the third chapter of LLTA on the Wayback but it's unfinished and only a small amount. I've added it to https://pastebin.com/5yr94SJT
